Travellers Aid
Travellers Aid is a for-purpose organisation that empowers people experiencing travel-related challenges to connect, engage and participate with their community.
The Travellers Aid lounge at Southern Cross Station in Melbourne is a place for travellers to take a seat, rest and wait for the next leg of their journey. Travellers Aid can help with basic tourist and travel information as well as directions around the station. Breastfeeding mothers are welcome and the friendly staff and volunteers are always happy to assist tired families or those experiencing unexpected travel emergencies.

- Mobility equipment and stroller hire
- Personal care
- Buggy connection assistance
- Free drinking water
- Crisis travel
- Showers
The Southern Cross Station Travellers Aid service hub is located under the Bourke Street bridge, opposite the Luggage Hall.
