Infranexus welcomes new Chairman

Infranexus is delighted to announce the commencement of Julian Vella as its new Chairman, following the retirement of John Fitzgerald.

Julian is an experienced business leader and adviser with a proven track record of leading, building, and growing businesses and developing high performing teams. He has an enviable reputation for providing high quality and practical advice on complex projects across a diverse range of sectors.

With a 30 plus year international career at KPMG, Julian has worked in Australia, South Africa, China, Hong Kong and the UK. His expertise is in accounting, audit, risk management and advisory. Julian is a Chartered Accountant by training.

We are particularly thankful for Julian’s deep experience in and knowledge of the infrastructure sector in Australia and internationally, including project feasibility and commercial structuring, privatisation, investment, and valuation. He was a member of the Australian Government’s Infrastructure Finance Working Group (2011 – 2012).

Julian is also a recognised public speaker and commentator on a range of topics, particularly in relation to infrastructure and cities. We are looking forward to introducing Julian to our clients and other stakeholders and for Julian to build upon the excellent foundations laid by John Fitzgerald.
