Infranexus Management is pleased to announce that its operating company, Praeco Pty Ltd, has been engaged by Defence to deliver a significant project at the General John Baker Complex in Bungendore, NSW.

The project is part of the first tranche of works for the Capability Assurance Project that will deliver substantial capability enhancements for the Defence Headquarters Joint Operational Command located at the complex. The project will expand and improve existing parking to accommodate over 1000 vehicles and install a canopy-mounted 1.9 MW solar array over half of the carpark area. The solar array will generate approximately 3000 MWh of renewable energy per year and will avoid over 2000 tonnes of CO2 per year. Praeco has engaged local construction company Shaw Building Group to design and construct the $21 million project and has reached agreement with Downer Defence for the ongoing maintenance of the new facilities following completion. Construction will commence in mid-2024 and is scheduled to be complete at the end of 2025. Praeco Pty Ltd operates and maintains the General John Baker Complex under a 30-year Public Private Partnership contract with the Commonwealth. Praeco is 100% owned by IFM Investors and is managed by Infranexus Management Pty Ltd.
